Zero-dose Children & Nutrition-Service Gaps
Working side by side with the lead analyst, I iterated the visuals to complement the data story as it took shape. Drawing on more than 560,000 children across 55 countries, each round of charts helped convey a key message from the analysis and, at times, sharpened the next question, sending us back to the data for a fresh look.
Reaching zero-dose children is a central equity goal of global immunization. The paper highlights how immunization platforms offer an opportunity to reach children who may also be missing essential nutrition services, and offers a reminder that reaching every child will require stronger connections between immunization, nutrition and primary health care.
