The evolution of seasonal influenza vaccination policies
A Sankey chart was constructed to illustrate the number of countries with a national policy for flu vaccination during the 2013-2014 and 2017-2018 flu seasons, respectively. In particular, the chart illustrates how only a few countries developed flu policies in the period between the two seasons - most new policies implemented after the 2013-2014 season were in countries classified as high or upper-middle income countries.
